Closure of Baltimore port in USA

cargo ship

We want to keep you informed about recent developments at the Baltimore port following the collapse of the Key Bridge. As you may know, Baltimore is primarily utilized for bulk shipments of liquid gas and car transportation. Shipments of general goods to and from the UK are not often shipped through this port, however there are likely to be knock on effects in other areas.

With Baltimore unable to operate currently, other east coast ports will experience additional strain as they work to handle the increased volume.  This may lead to delays and increased transit times. There could also be a ripple effect that impacts other deliveries within the US as additional truckers are required for moving containers out of the port efficiently.

While we await further details, our priority remains keeping you informed. Rest assured, we’ll promptly update you as soon as we have more information.

Thank you for your understanding and patience during this time. If you have any specific concerns about your shipments, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
