It’s World #AutismAcceptanceWeek this week and we are getting involved at IFS.
To mark World Autism Awareness Day, our colleague Andrew Hooper has reflected on the importance of raising awareness and showing support to people with autism.
Andrew said: “Autism acceptance week is significant to me and other autistic people. It raises awareness and honours the abilities that autistic people can offer to the workplace.
“Those with autism must work much harder to catch up to the general population. Every person is special and unique in their own way and autistic people can accomplish the same goals.
“I truly believe that if you put in the necessary effort and drive, nothing can stop you from achieving your dreams.”
